Commitment to achieving Net Zero
We are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040.
Current reduction targets are in line with our goals to become carbon neutral by 2028 and Net Zero by 2040.
To continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:
Reduce overall greenhouse gas output by 20% annually.
Use alternative fuel methods where possible for fleet vehicles for 10% of vehicles.
Reduce waste and increase levels of recycling by 15%.
Reducing our impact on the environment
We have a robust framework and strategy for ensuring our energy consumption is reduced annually all the way down to carbon neutrality.
We are doing everything possible to reduce Single Use Plastics in our supply chain by working closely with our supply partners and reusing biodegradable materials.
We’re proud to be paper-free and encourage our partners and customers to do the same.
The recycled boxes that we use are re-used several times before they become unfit for packaging, where they are then recycled. We also reuse all of our supplier’s packaging and boxes.
Our vehicles are software engineered to produce 15% less Co2 than factory models. We are also investing in hybrid and full-electric vehicles.
Reducing waste is crucial for us because it contributes to deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and landfill waste. By adopting sustainable packaging practices and using recycled or biodegradable materials, we can reduce our environmental impact, conserve natural resources, and save money on waste disposal costs.
- 100% of cardboard that enters our facility is reused for packaging
- To reduce waste, we reuse cardboard from our suppliers for orders and storage
- 0% of our waste goes to landfill
Innovation is the cornerstone of our approach to working with our customers. We have over 20-years’ experience in this field and have seen many trends and innovations during this time.
We utilise new technology, such as autonomous technology for cleaning machines to help the cleaner streamline their cleaning regimen. We are also always evaluating new, sustainable and eco-friendly options for our customers.
The Planet Mark Certification
The Planet Mark Business certification is a recognised symbol of sustainability progress. It demonstrates a business’ commitment to measuring and reducing carbon emissions, ultimately contributing to environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.
On average, Planet Mark certified businesses make a 24% cut in absolute carbon emissions per year, and 17% carbon saving per employee per year through reductions in energy, waste, water, travel and procurement.
We have set a target to reduce our carbon footprint by 5% over the next year. However, we are currently on track to reduce this by a whopping 20%.
We will achieve this through a several initiatives, including:
- Improving energy efficiency in our operations
- Encouraging employees to adopt sustainable travel habits
- Introducing better controls of waste streams
- Reducing water consumption
- Reducing fuel consumption
- Regularly auditing our supply chain
In The Community
Overgrown, weedy and dated. The school had had ambitions to adapt the area for some time, but due to budget constraints on the national education system, Grinling Gibbons simply didn’t have the budget. When Regular Cleaning heard their story, they responded with the only way they know. ‘How can we help?’.
Our priority was ensuring that the area for the children was easy to manage and required as little maintenance and upkeep as possible for the school’s staff. Once the area was clean and weed-free, we got to work on future-proofing the ground for years to come.
We’re proud to be supporting Young lives vs Cancer who play such an important role in our community and hospitals by helping children, young people, and their families cope with Cancer. Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer and need support. From Diagnosis, Young Lives Vs Cancer is there to guide, support, and care for the person and support the NHS Teenage Cancer Trust.
We also support our customers with their charities to donate funds, IT equipment and clothing.
Established in 2014, the Made Blue Foundation is a charity making a significant impact worldwide. To date, they have generated over 10 billion litres of clean water, courtesy of more than 500 partner companies.
The foundation is driven by transparency, efficiency, and optimal impact, with an independent board ensuring minimal core costs and maximum accountability. Their programme, One Litre for One Litre, allows companies to convert their water-saving or water consumption into an equal amount of clean drinking water in developing countries.
We supply soluCLEAN & i-team products that contribute to Made Blue, contributing one litre of clean drinking water for each soluCLEAN sachet or 18 litres of water for each i-team i-mop purchased through us. This means you can contribute to helping Made Blue create clean water projects throughout the world by purchasing these.
