On Thursday the 24th of August, we were fortunate to be able to host another i-team Roadshow Open Day. This year was even bigger and better than last year with a huge turnout, amazing live demonstrations, insightful talks, networking, and hospitality!

Read below to learn more about i-team and what occurred throughout our bustling open day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. last month.

What is i-team?

i-team develops and sells cutting-edge and innovative environmentally friendly cleaning products and machines to the cleaning commercial industry. Known predominantly for their scrubber dryer range, the i-mop. We share the same ethos with i-team, with their vision being to:

“Make the best sustainable cleaning equipment solutions on earth, to create a healthier and safer environment for people while protecting our planet”.

i-team now supplies a wide array of products, including the new autonomous cleaning machine, the co-botic 45, and the innovative vacuum cleaner, i-vac, catering to every cleaning environment.

From meticulously designed cleaning machines that effortlessly tackle even the most stubborn stains, to intelligent robotic systems that revolutionize industrial processes, i-team’s innovations are poised to transform the way we live and work.

This year, our roadshow open day was bigger than ever with a huge turnout of visitors and suppliers arriving to Wessex House for hands-on demonstrations, industry talks and networking within the cleaning industry. Visitors were able to engage in stimulating conversations with industry leaders, network with like-minded enthusiasts, and gain valuable insights into the future of technology-driven solutions.

One of the key highlights of the day was the demonstrations by i-team featuring the innovative co-botic 45, their inaugural 45cm co-botic scrubber dryer. This machine was extremely popular throughout the day with many demonstrations and discussions!

This also included demonstrations on the iconic i-mop and the introduction of their newest i-mop, the i-mop v23, with new features!

Visitors were also able to meet the Orbot family, the most versatile, compact commercial and residential orbital floor machine on the market! Featuring a unique driver system and an assortment of pads and brushes, the Orbot range can clean, scrub, sand, strip, and polish any carpet or hard floor. This was shown throughout our warehouse, as was the i-mop range.

Suppliers

We had the pleasure of also inviting some of our suppliers to this open day. Excluding i-team, these included MotorScrubber who demonstrated their innovative SHOCK cleaning machine, the lowest profile oscillating floor cleaning machine in the world. This was also a key highlight of the day, prompting further talks and demonstrations on this innovative machine!

Other suppliers that performed amazing demonstrations and key talks throughout the open day included BioHygiene who were involved in insightful talks in regards to the future of cleaning and environmental factors, Nordic Chem who were able to demonstrate their innovative surface solutions on the outside of Wessex, soluCLEAN who showcased their products throughout the day and creating a stronger network throughout the cleaning industry & Metsa who showcased their tissue products and were able to give freebies to visitors to allow them to learn more about what Metsa does for the environment.

Discussions were also had about on what the future of cleaning would look like, environmental factors in commercial cleaning and the Planet Mark accreditation.

The collaboration of all these innovative companies fostered an environment ripe with insightful talks and riveting demonstrations, leaving visitors enriched with knowledge and new connections in the cleaning industry, marking the day as a grand success.

To wrap up

With such a busy day, we were able to also provide hospitality for all suppliers and visitors with cold and warm drinks and food supplied locally that included sandwiches, snacks and much more that went down well with everyone throughout the day.
