The Supplier Scorecard Template is an efficient method of evaluating a number of suppliers in one document. This fully customizable template will allow you to score all suppliers on a 1 to 5 scale based on your priorities and will give you a weighted result that will determine the overall three best suppliers for your project.
The Template is fit for universal use but has been designed for the facilities management and commercial cleaning industry.
When organisational finances or employees time is to be consumed more than normal, they should be used in support of a well-defined business need. A business case or cost-benefit analysis delves into spending and captures the reasoning for initiating the project or change. For example, the deployment of autonomous scrubber dryers might improve contract performance on site. However, the business case for this would be that better performance improves customer satisfaction, requires less processing time for on-site teams, or reduce operational maintenance costs.
Capture and evaluate quantifiable and non-quantifiable objectives as to why you should be undertaking the project in the first place.
As the title would suggest, the template demonstrates variances between your current solution that has been deployed, and what a new solution would look like. Giving you the information to make an informed decision if the risk is financially viable as a benefit.
The Executive Summary template is intended as an aid to decision-making by senior leadership teams which have the overall decision on the project. The template has been written in such a way that leadership teams can digest large amounts of information without having to review the entire analysis (unless requested, of course). The Executive Summary typically contains a brief statement of the problem, a concise analysis of options and a summary of the recommendation.
When writing an initial scope, a proof of concept – or a pilot – it is important to include milestones or deliverables for all stakeholders to understand the project timeline. Milestones are actions or events marking a significant change in the stage of the process. A deliverable is a tangible or intangible good/service produced as a result of a project that is intended to be delivered to a customer.
Define your project and give potential suppliers clear guidance on exactly what it is that you are looking for them to solve with a Request for Proposal (RFP) template.
The RFP Evaluation Template allows organisations to quickly eliminate suppliers who are not a great fit for their business and proceed to the next stages for the ones who are. The qualitative information can be used to formulate the final Evaluation Summary for Procurement and the next stages of the project lifecycle.
The Evaluation Summary Document should be completed and turned into Procurement at the end of the RFP supplier evaluation. This summary contains the final recommendation of the operational teams when reviewing potential suppliers. The summary must be very clear as to why a supplier was chosen.
